1. Who We Are

Kiacert is a web-based certificate generation tool developed and operated by Ampliora Solutions. Our platform allows users to automatically generate and export professional certificates as PDFs using Google Slides templates and Google Sheets data.

When this policy refers to "we", "us", or "our", it means Ampliora Solutions. When it refers to "you" or "your", it means the person using Kiacert.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you use Kiacert:

• Google account information: your name and email address, obtained when you sign in with Google. This is used to identify your account and display your name in the app.
• Unit balance: the number of credits associated with your account, stored in our database to manage your usage of the service.
• Payment information: when you purchase units, your payment is processed by Paystack. We do not store your card details. We only receive confirmation of a successful transaction and the amount paid.
• Google Slides, Sheets, and Drive data: we temporarily access your Google Slides template, Google Sheets data, and Google Drive folder solely to generate and save your certificates. We do not permanently store, copy, or retain any of this content on our servers.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect exclusively to:

• Authenticate your identity and maintain your account
• Track and manage your unit balance
• Generate certificates from your provided templates and data
• Export certificates as PDFs to your specified Google Drive folder
• Process payments and credit units to your account
• Respond to support requests and resolve account issues

We do not use your data for advertising, analytics profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the service described above.

4. Google API Scopes

Kiacert requests the following permissions from your Google account:

• Google Slides (read-only): to read your certificate template and extract placeholder text.
• Google Sheets (read-only): to read recipient data from your spreadsheet.
• Google Drive (read/write): to create temporary copies of your template, export them as PDFs, and save the final certificates to your specified folder. Temporary copies are deleted immediately after export.

Kiacert's use of Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your account data (name, email, and unit balance) is stored securely in Google Firebase Firestore, a cloud database operated by Google. We do not operate our own servers for data storage.

Your Google Slides, Sheets, and Drive content is never stored on our systems. It is accessed in real time during certificate generation and not retained afterward.

Payment processing is handled entirely by Paystack, a PCI-DSS compliant payment provider. We do not have access to your card details at any point.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with the following third-party services that are necessary to operate Kiacert:

• Google LLC: for authentication, Slides, Sheets, and Drive API access.
• Google Firebase: for secure database storage of your account and unit balance.
• Paystack: for secure payment processing.

Each of these providers operates under their own privacy policies and data protection standards.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account information (name, email, unit balance) for as long as your account is active. If you would like your account and all associated data permanently deleted, please contact us at the address below and we will action your request within 7 business days.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Revoke Kiacert's access to your Google account at any time via Google Account Permissions

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 10.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the service evolves. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Kiacert after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
